David's mom took Hunter, Peyton and Aubrey for the night. The four of us left at home decided to go out to dinner and just enjoy a peaceful time - dinner's out with everyone are pretty chaotic, so it's nice once in a while to have a break. We got a phone call right before we left for dinner that Hunter was very upset and crying because he wanted to come home. We checked during the middle of dinner and he was still upset - so we met afterwards and brought him home. When asking him what was wrong, he simply just said "I realized that I wouldn't get to see you mom and it made me sad" How sweet! He showered me with compliments all the way home - such a sweet little guy. Peyton and Aubrey stayed and were excited for their time away.
David told me that Aubrey came over to him today and said to him "Daddy, I am very sad" and when he asked her why she was sad she replied "Because you are a cry-baby" then she started giggling and ran off. He got quite a kick out of it.
We are enjoying a quiet evening at home and looking forward to an uneventful weekend!
